Girl with Glasses

Issue: 2024

Policy Statement

Predyktable is firmly committed to ensuring that no form of modern slavery or human trafficking occurs within our business or our supply chain. We are fully aligned with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and take proactive measures to prevent and address these practices.

Scope

This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and suppliers working on behalf of Predyktable within the UK and internationally.

Commitment

  • Comply with all applicable UK and international legislation, including the Modern Slavery Act 2015, and any relevant updates.
  • Conduct due diligence to identify, assess, and mitigate the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking in our operations and supply chains.
  • We will take appropriate steps to prevent and address any instances of slavery and human trafficking.
  • We will maintain transparent and ethical business practices.

Due Diligence and Risk Management

We undertake the following due diligence actions to mitigate the risks associated with modern slavery:

  • Risk Assessments: Regular assessments of our supply chain to identify potential high-risk areas for forced labour, trafficking, or exploitation.
  • Supplier Code of Conduct: We expect all suppliers to adhere to our code, which prohibits any form of modern slavery, and we reserve the right to audit their practices for compliance.
  • Supplier Screening: New suppliers are subject to rigorous screening, which includes checks for compliance with human rights standards.
  • Ongoing Monitoring: Continuous monitoring of supplier performance and their adherence to our anti-slavery commitments.

Supplier Code of Conduct

Suppliers must:

  • Comply with all applicable UK and international laws and regulations relating to labour rights.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Pay fair wages and provide benefits as required by law.
  • Prohibit the use of child labour.
  • Ensure that all workers have the right to freedom of association and collective bargaining.
  • Prohibit the use of forced labour or indentured servitude.
  • Maintain records of workers’ employment and pay.

Training and Awareness

We ensure that:

  • Training is provided to employees and contractors to help them identify signs of modern slavery and understand their obligations under this policy.
  • Awareness campaigns are conducted to inform staff and suppliers of the risks of modern slavery and our reporting mechanisms.

Reporting and Monitoring

  • We will establish a mechanism for reporting suspected cases of slavery and human trafficking.
  • We will investigate all reports promptly and take appropriate action.
  • We will regularly review and update this policy to ensure its effectiveness.

By embedding these measures into our operations, Predyktable ensures that we operate with integrity, prioritise ethical standards, and contribute to the global fight against modern slavery.
